You are going to want to touch the tip when you first buy it to make sure you have a nice sturdy tip. I use Almay's brand, and it works awesome. Then, get comfortable in front of a mirror. (A mirror with ';zoom'; works best for starting because you can see everything in a bigger size.) Start from the outside rim, in because the applicator is going to have a lot of liner on it to begin with, and you don't want to look like a clown with a huge line on the inner corner of your eye. GO SLOW, and steadily sweep the applicator from corner to corner, and keep your eye closed for a good 30 seconds so the line doesn't get transferred to the top of your eye. For a cool effect, don't dip the applicator (one dip should be good for one eye, and slightly dry applicators are easier to put cool details on your eye) and sweep a small like going up and out ending in a point. (not too far, or you'll look like a crazy lady) If you made a mistake, or are un happy, use a make up remover pen (Almay) and just erase what your unhappy with, or use a q-tip with a little warm water or a tiny bit of make up remover to remove it, and start over. It just takes practice, but once you get it.... it's easy and you'll be able to do it in a bumpy car with perfection.
Good luck.Whats the best way to use and apply liquid eye line ?
get a felt tip one the one that has a sturdy tip if you
are beginning to use liquid eye liner..also start
in the middle of your eue..right above your pupil and then slowly dab it across to the outer part of your eye..then to get the inner part lightley dab it and then once you have less product on you can drag it.
watch this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPTJp4Lpc鈥?/a>Whats the best way to use and apply liquid eye line ?
i usually start from the middle and work my to end and if you want more of dramatic look you can kinda flick it out and then finish up the inner corner of my eye. It just takes a little practice if you have never used it before
Go from your inner eye to outer and go slow cuz it can get messy.

How do girls get that nice black line all around there eye's?Do they use Liquid eyeliner?
That awsome look. How do girls get that nice black line all around there eye's?Do they use Liquid eyeliner?
I use both a kohl pencil and a liquid eyeliner. I first apply the kohl carefully following the lash line. I do not line the inner corner of my eyes as I don't want to make my eyes appear smaller or 'fenced in'. Then I add a thin line of liquid eyeliner directly over the kohl, again, carefully following my lash line. Do not try to cover all the kohl with the liquid eyeliner. You just want a thin line.
The pencil eyeliner makes a soft, smokey line while the liquid eyeliner adds a greater degree of definition. Using both eyeliners really adds a 'wow' effect to the eyes. When done correctly, it's really a quite flattering look.
~Morg~How do girls get that nice black line all around there eye's?Do they use Liquid eyeliner?
a good swift bash in the eye area should give desired look.... or use a black kohl pencil eyeliner and blend with a cotton tip.
If it is what I am thinking, it is an actual eye shadow, you draw a thin line on the bottom of your eye lid like you would with eye liner from corner to corner %26amp; go slightly over the edge, then from the inner corner on the bottom of you eye (not to much %26amp; only thin) you would go under you eye to the corner where you left a bit. I wish I could draw a pic for you it would be so much more easier.
Have a play around %26amp; you will get it.
yes
you can have eye shadow and you need pencil you can do the same thing with liquid
u can use liquid eyeliner! i think thats the best! or u cud use the black liner pencil and smudge it a lttle to get a slight smokey effect!
you can use either pencil or liquid eyeliner to do that, liquid is harder cuz you need a really steady hand but its thinner than pencil and i think it looks better
i do it all the time and DO NOT use a liquid liner actually i am so good at IT with the eye liner pencil that am afraid to try the liquid liner, I use different shades from the Mary Kay line
good luck
I have always had trouble with eyeliner, liquid and pencil. But several years ago, I tried Guerlain's Divinora eye pencils and I found them easier to use than anything else I've tried. I love the consistency and ease of application of the pencils. They cost a bit more than the drug store variety, but to me they're worth it.
I usually use only the regular (pencil) eyeliner but you have to be very careful, it took me a while to get in the hang of it.
Yeah, usually it is liquid eyeliner but you can get the same thing from a solid one with a bit of practice.
yes.
i use pencil on the bottom so i can git on the inner part and liquid on the top because its smoother and u can get a thinner line....if u want a smoky eye use pencil and smudge :) i love eye liner haha

What happens if you get liquid eyeliner in your eye?
This morning I was putting it on to fast and got it in my eye. And I quickly got it out. But today i've been wondering what would've happened if I didn't get it out. So if you could tell me what you THINK would happen, EXPERIENCES about it or what ever that would great!!!What happens if you get liquid eyeliner in your eye?
It happened to me. I just washed it out the best I could.
Makeup always gets in my eye. I think you're a little paranoid.
I wouldn't worry unless your eye vision changes, or you see redness or anything out of the ordinary.
Really, callm yourself. Nothing is going to happen. That's what I think.
If you're that concerned next time becareful. It might've stinged a little from the make up depending on the type/brand.
If you are SUPER concerned you can always call your physician.
Honestly though make up is for your face and people know accidents will happen. They won't put highly toxic stuff in your make up if they knew already people were putting it on their face. What happens if you get liquid eyeliner in your eye?
Well, after a short amount of time, you get this stringy stuff whch goes the colour of the liner. If you dont get it out, it will sort of make its way to the end of you eye (the corner by your nose, where you get sleep). It wil stay ther efor ages!! (until you take other makeup off or go to sleep or something like that) If you only do it a couple of times it should be ok.
Hiiii,
I ALWAYS wear liquid eyeliner on my top line. And i never fail to get at least a little in my eye. If you hadn't of gotten it out, it would of either irritated your eye until you got it out, or it would of came out eventually on its on. (tear duct maybe?)
God Bless. :)
nothing would really happen except your eye would burn depending on the brand of makeup
Nothing happens with mine, it doesn't even sting.
it would eventually come out through your tear ducts on its own.

How do I apply Liquid-Eye liner?
Video's and websites would work best, too. I tried asking my Mom to help teach me, only she always draws a thick black line across my eye-lid, right by my lashes...not ON the lashes, but by them....is she doing it right?? It looks so weird at first, but she told me to let it dry, and that afterwords it'd be OK??How do I apply Liquid-Eye liner?

Is it ok to apply liquid eyeliner with out eye shadow?
if you saw someone wearing just liquid eyeliner with no eye shadow, would you think that was weird? Is it ok to apply liquid eyeliner with out eye shadow?
yeah! it's totally ok!
you can also do the cat eye look and look incredibly sexy!
it's fine. really. Is it ok to apply liquid eyeliner with out eye shadow?
Hehe, there's nothing wrong with that at all, hun.
I do that all the time.
Just some eyeliner and mascara, and I'm ready to go.
=]
sure it is, why not?? :)
It doesn't do much for the eyes, i think some other color on the eyes looks more appealing, but it's your (or their) prerogative . :)
thats the only thing i do lol.. only on days that i feel really good i wear eyeshadow
It looks great without eyeshadow, where did you get the idea it didnt?
yeah!!!
i think it would look o.k if it was done properly... not to much though.
I wouldn't think it's weird at all. I only wear eyeliner and mascara and i really like the way it looks.
I actually dont like eyeshadow. In my opinion, people look better without eyeshadow :)

When should you throw out foundation (powder or liquid) and eye shadow and liner?
First off, if it smells, stinks, has a distinct odor that should not be, throw it away! I am amazed at how long women will keep cosmetics that have a bad odor. Do yourself a favor and trash it.
Another good rule of thumb, if you can't remember when you purchased it, trash it. Makeup should not stir up memories from ten years ago. If your makeup bag does, throw it out!
Oil-Free Foundation: 1 year
Cream or Compact Foundation: 18 months
Concealer: 12-18 months
Powder: 2 years
Blush and Bronzer: 2 years
Cream Blush: 12-18 months
Powder Eye shadow: 2 years Cream Eye shadow: 12-18 months
Eyeliner: 2 years
Liquid eyeliner: 3-6 months
Mascara: 3 months
Lipstick: 2 years
Lip liner: 2 years
Lip gloss: 18-24 months
Nail Color: 1 year
If you are using natural cosmetics, these should be thrown out sooner. Regular cosmetics contain ingredients that do help prolong shelf life. But of course natural cosmetics do not. Please check with your favorite natural store for the information on the cosmetics you love.
My favorite tip to make throwing out your cosmetics a little easier: Buy yourself a Sharpie to keep with your makeup bag. Write your own expiration date on the cosmetics that way you will always know when it is time to replace. When should you throw out foundation (powder or liquid) and eye shadow and liner?
To tell you the truth, I usually don't ever have to throw it away but If i noticed the consistency changing in my liquid foundation I would throw it out. Be sure to keep your makeup clean by using fresh brushes and keeping the lids on them and never share your make-up. I know there is a limit on especially liquid make-up but I don't know what that is. I use mine up in plenty of time and when I buy blushes and eyeshows, they always say that will last you for a long time, so I don't throw them away. When should you throw out foundation (powder or liquid) and eye shadow and liner?
For foundation; you shouldn't keep it longer than 6 months (Water-based formulas last a few weeks longer than oil-based ones)
Eyeliner; also 6 months (bacteria can grow around the tip)
Eye-shadow; 9-12 months (old shadows get chalky and difficult to apply.)
eye shadow- doesnt really turn old. but if it was like your moms from a while, like 5-10 or more years. be careful, it could possibly have a reaction on your skin.
foundation- liquid..when it turns colors like a more yellowee color.....and usually it comes in lil bottles so you can just wait untill your out. or if there is like a 'never ending supply' then throw it away when it starts not blending as well.
powder foundation- something thats good quality like anything from MAC or BARE MINERALS will last you a while. maybe around 3-5 years, but usually by then you will like to buy something new, or order a new formula..
liner, if it liquid, when ever it looks clumpy and looks something like a paste. throw it out!!!
** a lot of the times you will know to your own judgement. so if your bored of it or it doesnt feel or loook the same, theres a hint to give it awy.
foundation- about 6-7 months
eyeshadows- about 1-2 years
eyeliners- about 1 year
mascara- no later then 6 monthsblond hair

How do you put on liquid eyeliner without getting it in ur eye?
It all ways seems to get in my eyesHow do you put on liquid eyeliner without getting it in ur eye?
thats why i use the pencil eye liner (:How do you put on liquid eyeliner without getting it in ur eye?
well if you using liquid on the top it shouldn't really get in your eyes but if your using it on the bottom maybe its better to try using pencil on the bottom or if u do use liquid on the bottom try keeping it away from your eyes for a while to wait for it to dry.
Don't put liquid eyeliner on your waterline, but put in underneath your waterline, that way it wont get in your waterline and wont hurt your eyes or fade away
You shouldn't really use liquid eyeliner on the bottom of your eyes - its too severe. Stick with a pencil.
When applying liquid eyeliner on top, pull skin taut and apply swiftly.
place your hand on the table top so it is more steady .
u can try viewing some youtube videos that teaches people how to draw liquid eyeliner
one of the useful vid i found on youtube is below (:
You just put it on really easily like you would with the sharpening eye liner..I have never gotten it in my eyes, maybe its just me/you....

Wat brand of eye liner (not liquid) is good and actually stays on?
Every eye liner i use goes away after like an hour but i want one that can stay onWat brand of eye liner (not liquid) is good and actually stays on?
Revlon Colorstay.Wat brand of eye liner (not liquid) is good and actually stays on?
MAC definitely, it leaves a clean line and stays on for a long time
Get the eyeliner from Bee-Luscious Cosmetics (Google them). It WILL stay on all day. It is a bit more expensive but it's worth it because it stays where you put it and you don't have to keep reapplying.
Try Gel liners or as often called ';pot'; liners. They are hi intensity, and won't fade or smudge .They are great for all day wear. They come in all sorts of colors, styles, and prices...here are a couple of web site of some store that carry them check them out. Trust me they are fabulous I wouldn't go back to liquid liner for anything ;-)

http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>
MAC or Clinique (but make sure its waterproof if you plan on being around water)
water proof mascara, when you pull out the brush you always get the extra on the end right so take the brush run it allong your eyelide and whip upthe extras makeing a nice neat line that satys on all day and it really works
Bee-Luscious has really GREAT eyeliners that stay on all day. You can't beat their quality. It is available on-line. They also have one with chamomile and aloe if you have sensitive eyes.
Sephora
Mac in Khol
I like to splurge a little on eyeliner, and go for Estee Lauder. Theirs is really good, never had a problem with them. And it lasts a REALLY long time.
Also, to keep eyeliner, in general, on longer...try brushing a translucent powder over your eye lid, it gives the eyeliner something to hold onto, instead the natural oils in your eye lids, which make the eyeliner melt off.
I really love MAC. This is the eyeliner I use and it's the first one that actually stays on for me :
http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>
I also put concealer on underneath my eyeshadow/eyeliner to help it stay on longer.
i'd say anything waterproof
Smashbox cream liners!!! I love Smashbox period. But there eyeliners are amazing! You apply them with an eyeliner brush. They last all day and don't smudge! They come in really beautiful colors too!

How do you put on a liquid eye liner i mean the one you put on top of your top eye lashes.?
can someone help me i keep messing up.How do you put on a liquid eye liner i mean the one you put on top of your top eye lashes.?
okay stretch out your eye like a japanese person and put it right by your eyelashes. How do you put on a liquid eye liner i mean the one you put on top of your top eye lashes.?
First it doesn't go on your eyelashes it goes just above them. Liquid eye liner is good for that reason because it is easily controlled to put on a thin line because generally is comes in brighter colors that you don't need a lot of.
Close one eye get close to the mirror and lean on something to steady your arm. Then draw a thin line along the edge of your eye lid, if you mess up start again or use a makeup wipe to remove the error. Practice makes perfect. It took me about 10 attempts to get it right! Just play about with the brush holding it different ways to see which works best for you and if a thick or thin line suits you.
Hope I helped.
practice makes perfect so take your time with it...it will get easier
close your eye and watch the line you draw...if you make a lil smudge get a wet q-tip and rub it down toward the lash line (not all the way...just to make it even)
when i first started out i lifted my upper eye lid and applied the eyeliner UNDER the base of my eye lashes...gives the same basic effect and it gives your eyelashes a lil boost ^_^
close you eye and make a thin line right above your lashes thick or thin depending on how you want it thicker tends to make your eye look more gothic than attractive thinner makes it a more attractive look. Give it a try
search for it on youtube,

What is the best way to achieve the cat eye look? Cream or liquid eyeliner?
Try using Revlon's Bedroom Eyes liquid eyeliner! That stuff looks good when you want to achieve the cat-eye look. What is the best way to achieve the cat eye look? Cream or liquid eyeliner?
I use a liquid pen by Chanel for that. Idiot proof! Ecriture de Chanel.
However, I don't like the harsh shiny, paint-y look of liquid liner alone, so I usually smudge some dark eyeshadow on top of it to blend it a little. Makes it stick longer too and it's easier to make them even with a little shadow on top.
Liquid liner by itself can look severe, but it's the only way to get the precision for the cat eyed look. What is the best way to achieve the cat eye look? Cream or liquid eyeliner?
Liquiid!!
lIquid looks stunning - If it's applied PERFECTLY
To really define your eyes, use a soft eyeliner pencil right in the top lash line - between the lashes, extending slightly up and out at the outward corner and BLEND BLEND BLEND
Really looks amazing!
liquid %26lt;3
I like Maybeline Colorstay, then feather it with a Q-tip or put eye shadow on top and feather it out (it'll last all day). Put it directly on your lash line (not inside), hold up your upper lid and line upper lash line (in between lashes), it makes your lashes seem twice as thick and looks dramatic. Follow with lots of mascara, I like Loreal Volume and then put Maybeline Sky High on just the outer lashes, it gives you little ';wings'; and looks like you have on ';falsies'; (false eyelashes).I don't like liquid liner it looks too fake.
you can do with either but liquid has a more defined line.
definetely liquid. you can make a finer line.

liquid works better be careful not to get it in your eye if you feel burning just blink about 3 times and the sting goes away and you have a really cool look !

Definatly liquid but if you know how to work shadow you can wet a thin makeup brush (special brushes for liners r best!) and use a black eye shadow as eyeliner its a little more cakey but it stays on all day or night and also you can take advantage of black shadow and instead of doing the traditional cat eye you can search youtube and watch instructional videos on beautiful newer versions of the cat eye. Since everyone has their own makeup style its good to check out a few makeup artists' ideas before developing your own style.
Do you apply concealer/under eye concealer before or after applying liquid foundation?
I have Almay Clear Complexion.Do you apply concealer/under eye concealer before or after applying liquid foundation?
i wasnt ever a fan of almay. ive tried so many brands of foundation, and i found that relvon was the best in my opinion, it didnt wipe off on clothing and it blends into youre skin perfectly. i apply a liquid foundation, then i apply revlon powder foundationDo you apply concealer/under eye concealer before or after applying liquid foundation?
before!
You apply it under eye before applying the foundation.
if you have extreme dark circles under your eyes, then you can put a layer on top of the foundation but make sure you do it in a proper manner and not go overboard or else it might get cakey
hope i helpedblond hair

Can I use liquid foundation as eye primer?
So my eyeshadow doesn't run.
Thanks. Can I use liquid foundation as eye primer?
I've done it, it does work. However obviously not as good as an actual eye primer. But it will work!
hollyyCan I use liquid foundation as eye primer?
You can and it will work perfectly fine!
but if you have a slightly oily complexion, or find that your eyeshadow tends to crease or completely disappear after only an hour or two you might want to look for more or an eyeshadow primer type product.
Urban Decay makes a good one called ';Eyeshadow Primer Potion';, that you can purchase at Sephora.
It helps your eyeshadow, and all eye makeup in general last a lot longer!
i absolutely love it seeing as i find myself often having to re-apply my eye shadow without it!
For normal/dry lids, foundation or concealer is absolutely fine.
For oily lids, this will cause more creasing (although if you'd like, try it out. I suggest to not use it on a day you are doing anything too special, just on a day when you are out by yourself). It most likely would only work okay in the winter, or colder months.
If you have oily lids, then I suggest using Urban Decay Primer Potion. There are a few other well known primers, but this is the one that I would suggest for anyone with oily lids.
of course you can always just use foundation for the eye area anyway, but i lyk useing moiterizing, nude lipsticks, becuase there tacky but not thick or hard to spread lyk matte lipstick formulas might be. i especially like useing climique lquid lipstick in this nude coor that could mit aswell be a concealer. however the consistency is tackey and easy to spread.
Liquid foundation is probably not thick enough, it might make your eyeshadow even MORE likely to crease. I'd try an actual eyeshadow primer such as Urban Decay Primer Potion or Loreal De-Crease:

http://www.viewpoints.com/images/review/鈥?/a>
A cream-to-powder concealer or cream eyeshadow could both work as a primer too, much better than a liquid foundation.
Yes you can but the absolute best primer for eyeshadow to make sure it wont crease it Urban Decay Primer Potion $17 at Sephora. i use it everyday and I live in hot Florida and my eyeshadow stays in place and it makes the eyeshadow color stand out more.
it will work for a few hours, but not as long as an actual eye shadow base. if running is really as issue invest in an eye primer. l'oreal decrease is the only drugstore primer. otherwise check out too faced shadow insurance or urban decay primer potion at sephora
I have for years and it works just fine for me. I use loose powder over my eyelids and eyelashes. When I apply my mascara it helps my lashes look longer , I picked up that tip years ago too! ... I swear by it.
You can, but it's not going to last as long as something such as Urban Decay's primer potion.
yeah I sometimes do that too, but what also works good is just a concealer. Its somewhat has the same consistency as a primer.
I used to use it, but I switched to concealer instead because it holds better.
I would think you can: I use it as a primer for eye shadow and liner
Yes unless your foundaiton contains salicylic acid....
def. make-up artists recommend it actually...(and for lips)
YES. Works for me!
um. im not so sure if your supposed to..
but that's what i do. and it works perfectly :]

What is that white liquid that comes out of my hamsters left eye?
ANd my hamster breathes hard after he mates. Whats up with that? is he to old or just tired? What is that white liquid that comes out of my hamsters left eye?
The white liquid is one of two things- either your hamster has a cold or it has hurt it's eyes somehow and now they are flushing themselves. Does your hamster sneeze? If so then I would say that he just has a cold. Also your hamster is breathing so hard because they have a fast metabolizim that results in a fast heart rate. Well when you exert yourself what happens, your heart pumps faster. The faster the heart pumps the more oxogen that is needed, i.e. harder and faster breathing. What is that white liquid that comes out of my hamsters left eye?
Quit putting him in your Ace.
If he has any liquid coming from his eyes (or nose) that is any color but clear, I would get him to the vet. This sounds like it may be a mild form of conjunctivitis, which is treatable with anti-biotics. The vet may give you an oinment or cream to put directly on his eye to clear it up. Something as small as this could easily turn into a more serious condition, and may also be contagious to any other hamster you have in with him. the heavy breathing may be a sign of an upper respiratory infection, which can also cause discharge from the eyes and nose. I would give him a break from the mating for now. And if you can't afford to get him to the vet, try supplementing his water or food with extra vitamins (affordable and easy to find at any pet supply store). You can also try putting his cage in the bathroom (not in the bath tub) and let the shower run on hot. The steam in the room will open up his nasal passages and ease his breathing a bit. Good luck with him and I hope this helps!
It could be tears, and maybe he's tired of mating so much!

How do you put liquid eye liner on the top eye lid?
plz answer. thanks. How do you put liquid eye liner on the top eye lid?
just putted along your eyelashes or chekc out this site
http://www.tellmehowto.net/howto/apply_e鈥?/a>
hope i helped =]How do you put liquid eye liner on the top eye lid?
Close your eyes and start from the end of your eyelid to the middle of your cornea or from starting on the same end you can line it all the way.
it has to be on the tip right above the lining %26amp; on top of your lashes. I do mine every day %26amp; it's a perfect line. People always ask me how do i get the line so neat %26amp; perfect? liquid eyeliner is very challenging, you have to keep practicing %26amp; wear it every day to get it how you want it! liquid eyeliner is also exotic looking, way better then pencil liner which is boring!
pull eye lid tight, and then line it like u norm wood
I apply it from eyelash to eyelash.
If you line your eye go from the beginning of your upper lash on the inner corner to the outer corner and just use a cotton swab to clean up andy mess ups.
pull your eye by the outer corner, and paint the line from in to out. then do the other on the same.
i buy the liquid eyeliner that looks like a felt-tip pen. it helps control the line. ';physicians formula felt tip eye marker';.
I've always had the same problem. If anyone else's suggestions don't work, buy Covergirl Liquid Pencil. It looks exactly the same as liquid eyeliner but it's felt tip makes it much easier to apply.

There's a picture of it, just so it'd be easier to find in the store if you do decide to buy it haha.

My cat's eye has some sort of a liquid coming out of it and when it dries it is a blackish color.?
I have tried flushing it out with saline solution and it hasn't stopped. I will wipe off the corner of his eye when it is dry but it comes back the next day. His eye isn't discolored and it doesn't seem to bother him.My cat's eye has some sort of a liquid coming out of it and when it dries it is a blackish color.?
Are there any other symptoms? If it gets really bad, or comes back very quickly, I would see a vet. Otherwise, it's probably just what we call 'sleep'. My kitties get it all the time... just wipe it away with a warm cloth. No big deal.My cat's eye has some sort of a liquid coming out of it and when it dries it is a blackish color.?
Cats' tears are amber colored and when they're dry they're so dark brown it's almost black. If your cat isn't producing excess tears and if the eye isn't swollen and the cat has no other symptoms, just get a tissue and gently remove his ';eye boogers';. All cats get them to some degree and some are better at washing their faces than others.
However, any time you think something is ';odd'; about your cat or if the cat seems distressed, please call the vet.
My cat had the same problem. Fortunately, it was just around the time I had her in for her shots. The vet said it probably was a feline herpesvirus, common to kittens who had respiratory infections while young and it often flares up when the cat is under stress (we'd just had her on vacation where she met many of new people and her first dog). This condition doesn't respond to antibiotics but in case there were other organisms in there, she prescribed eye drops and putting the cat on l-lysine. These two did the trick.
Your cat could have conjunctivitis or keratitis. It's worth having a vet take a look at it.
just keep washing it's face every day. this is usually normal but it wouldn't Hert to call the vet and ask them.
Your cat has an infection, go to the vet, you'll get the clavamox pills,
It could just be sleep but it could aslo be signs of an eye infection, cat flu and upper respitory tract infection.... try bathing it with warm salt water and if doesnt go or becomes worse i suggest taking him to the vet.
GO TO THE VET NOW!!!!!!!!

How do you apply liquid eyeliner without getting it in your eye?
i heard its amazing and it stays on really long, but i can never get it to work without it getting in my eye!!!
and its hurts. How do you apply liquid eyeliner without getting it in your eye?
keep your eye closed while you apply it
you dont need to seeHow do you apply liquid eyeliner without getting it in your eye?
Use it like you would a fine paint brush. Put it on the tops of the eyelids and underneath the eyelash on the bottom of the eye. Take your time and make sure that you don't have it clumped on the applicator. It does work very well and it doesn't pull the eye during application. This is a good thing because eye tissure is very sensitive.
it takes a lot of practice, but i find it helps to start from about the middle of the eye and work outward first, then work inward, and do a very small stroke at a time so it dries quicker. it's easy to build a like up thicker or darker than get it in your eye.
you might also want to make sure you rub excess off on the inner part of the opening to the tube/container..if there's too much on the lining brush it'll get everywhere and run into the eye easier.
hope that helps
i always pt it on the top also i always put it on with eye pencil first to get it neat then go over it with the liquid eyeliner with a thin layer. To get it on neat you could hold your eye lid in place by holding your eyelashes.. works for me hope i helped =D
make sure you keep you eyes closed.
you can go slowly and try to get a thin line.
if it doesnt come out good you can thin it out with a q-tip
I use it on the tops on my eye lids not in the inside.
As if i use it on the inside of my eye it runs too.
x.
you've just got to practise and practise! do it when you're not going out at night or something. it took me aaages to get it perfect. just follow the lash lines and there shouldnt be a problem.xx
yau need to stady your hand on something
if you want you can try and do it with an eyepencil first and then just going over it with the liquid
good luck
I hate it
I still use pencil
Waterproof pencil rockss
I would try holding the bottom lid down
and put it on the way!
Make sure your putting it under your bottom lashes, not on the same area you put pencil on
i use liquid ontop and pencil underneath (:
just pull your eye taut and use a steady hand. i guess it just takes practice but youll get it.
Top of your eyelids, then it shouldn't go into your eye!

Does anybody know a liquid that you put into your eye that maks the blue bits realy blue and white bits white?
Help please!Does anybody know a liquid that you put into your eye that maks the blue bits realy blue and white bits white?
Don't mess about with your eyes; they are too important.Does anybody know a liquid that you put into your eye that maks the blue bits realy blue and white bits white?
If your eyes are red it means that they need oxygen so the blood flow to them increases.
Using eye drops will constrict the blood vessels and that is bad for your eyes, they will only get redder when it wears off.
Its a bit like finishing a run and breathing heavily to get more oxygen to your lungs. It wouldn't be a good idea to clamp your hand over your mouth and nose now would it?
Yeah, Blue Eye Dew like it says above or lots of similar stuff available from Boots etc! Try anthing called Eye Brightener really. Optrex is a good brand but a lttle more pricey than the others. Shouldn't cost more than about a fiver though.
I don't know what your talking about but this sounds dangerous.
Rose water :D
I think you're thinking of Blue Eye Dew...available from chemists.
Optrex is good.
Try that?
What?
Sorry, I don't understand your question.

yes your cat does need to go to the vet just to be safe. it could be something as simple as allergies, or it could be something a bit more serious. so remember take your cat to the vet asap.My cat has a watery eye and has a slimey liquid coming out of her eyes?
Yes she does. Take her there as soon as possible. When you are taking her to the vet wrap her in a blanket on the trip to the vet.
yes she does, urgently. Sounds like cat flu to me.
She probably has conjunctivitis. You should take her to the vet to receive antibiotics for her eyes.
Yes, a trip to the vet is in order. She may have an infection in the eye. The fact that she is crying out sounds like maybe she got something in her eye and now it's becoming infected.
In the meantime you can clean it gently with some cotton wool and a little warm water, just wipe across the eye once, then turn the pad to wipe again otherwise you may spread the infection around.
Then she should see a vet
Hope that helps
Sounds like an eye infection. Or this can sometimes be a symptom of an upper respiratory infection
My vet calls that a ';cold in the eye'; and it must be treated with eye drops.
the cat is ok my cat has that to
YES! take her to the vet right away! there is deffentley something wrong with her!...take her to the vet!
Do not listen to Tanny_Fanny's advice!
Sometimes, this is normal...it just means there is dirt or something in her eye.
If you see no improvement after 24 hours, take her in to the vet.
try washing her eye with no-tears baby shampoo 2-3 times a day for a week or till it clears up, if it doesnt improve, take her to the vet....oh.....and wash yr hands after petting cat or washing its eye......dont wanna get the infection in YOUR eye....
go to the vet and get antibiotics for the eye. my cat had the same problem and he cleared up fine. antibiotics are the only solution i know of.

Which is the best brand of liquid eye liner?
I think the best brand of liquid eyeliner is Mac Fluid-line or Smashbox (even though it's harder to take off but it will come off if you use eye makeup remover).
Liquid eyeliner should only be used above the top lashes. It is best to use a pencil or eyeshadow under the lower lashes. For a more dramatic look, use a colored kohl pencil above and below lashes and follow with a black liquid liner on the top. It will make your lashes appear darker and will stay on all day. A dark eye-liner highlights the shape of your eyes and deepens the look. Softly line with eyeliner pencil, draw a thin line along lashes next to roots.Which is the best brand of liquid eye liner?

I use Rimmell - it's really good and easy to use. Stays on all day too.
If you want something prettty cheap Maybelline waterproof liquid eyeliner works pretty well. I have actually been looking into buying something new.
30/30 multigrade!!
I agree with your answerer who suggested Mary Kay. Let me know if you are in need of a consultant.
loreal telescopic precision liquid eyeliner
Mary Kay Signature Liquid Eye Liner in black/charcoal.
It depends what kind of look you want. I always like a 50s style very clean very black line so the best I have found (after 10 years of testing!) is Clarins Liquid Eyeliner with a brush. This takes a bit of practise to get right but the brush is so thin that it gives you a very flexible result. It lasts ages for the money and stays on all day.
If you are not so bothered about a very very black line and are fairly new to applying, you could try a pen liner...No7 do a good one...this is probably a bit easier to apply and gives a good result too. make sure you lean your elbow on a table or something to apply it though because it's easy to make a mistake.

What is the float liquid in eye that is like a bulk of bubbles?
when I look at a white object or light I see these bubbles that are float and it annoys me?what is the alternative?(in one of my eyes)What is the float liquid in eye that is like a bulk of bubbles?
This is vitreous fluid. There is really not a safe way to remove it. Yes, it is very annoying. See your ophthalmologist for best help with this. You may be developing a tear in your retina.
Best wishes. What is the float liquid in eye that is like a bulk of bubbles?
Look in the mirror to see if you have white clouds in your eye ball. They are called floaters. Its a sign that your not digesting meat well, or other protein.
It sounds like you are describing a detached retina which is very serious and can quickly lead to blindness with no treatment. The ';bubbles'; are actually referred to as floaters.
Here are the signs from WebMD for when to call a doctor:
';Flashes of light and floaters often occur as you get older or with migraine headaches. But they can also be signs of a problem that might lead to retinal detachment.
If flashes of light or floaters occur suddenly or in great numbers, or if you are not sure what to do, do not wait for vision loss to occur before you call your doctor. If you cannot reach your doctor, go to the emergency room. Although these symptoms do not cause pain and may seem harmless, getting an eye exam and quick treatment can send you home relieved or, if there is a problem, can save your vision.';

in general it is a good idea to see a doctor if any new symptoms persist or worsen. These symptoms sound fairly benign. A simple test is to blink, rub or even wash eyes if you see them again, if they go away then it was nothing to worry about otherwise I would recommend to see someone, good luck

Whats the best thing to use to remove liquid eye liner?
eye make up remover is great, but if u need a cheaper solution, baby oil works great...rub baby oil on, wipe off with tissue/cotton balls...voila clean face! if im lazy i just wash it off when i wash my face (i wash my face with body wash, cause it works for me)
vaseline is better for moisturizing and and keeping hair dye from being absorbed into ur skin :)...Whats the best thing to use to remove liquid eye liner?
i think vaseline is a bit rough on me, its too thick and sticky and i have to practically scrub my lids off. i find that baby oil or extra virgin olive oil works way better.Whats the best thing to use to remove liquid eye liner?

How do i apply liquid eye liner?
i finally got liquid eye liner, the thing is,i dont kno how to put it on w/out making a mess.please help me!How do i apply liquid eye liner?
u close your eye, (if u need to, hold it shut) then u take a little bit of liquid eye-liner and streak it across your eye lid, starting from the outside. just make sure that when u spread it across, u do that right where ur eye lid meets ur eyelashes. the trick is to make ur eyelashes lok darker and bigger, not to use it as eyeshadow! the less u put twords the center of ur eye. the bigger your eyes will look. How do i apply liquid eye liner?
what i do is i close my eye than i actually pull my eye lid back than i trace my lash line
take the brush or whatever it comes with and squish it so it has a point, then dip it in the eyeliner and put it in a thin line around your eyes. you can also smudge it for a more bold look.
Most liquid liners these days have a pointed tip for application. It is tough to get a perfect line and takes some practice but the most important thing is getting it as close to your lash line as possible. I have found that if I put the applicator tip along the actual lash line instead of aiming for the eyelid, it goes on right where it's supposed to and gives you the Audrey Hepburn look you may or may not be going for. Once you get the basic line established, use a cue tip or your fingers to clean up the top of the line so you either have a smudged smokey look or your line is even all the way across.
Hope this helps. Remember, it won't be perfect until you have done it a while and are practiced so cleanup is critical. Someone recommended doing eyeshadow and mascara before eyeliner and I would disagree completely. Eyeliner is first (following your foundation).

Ok, this is probobly the best tip anyone will ever give you. They sell this pen. It looks like those old ones that the presidents used to sign the declaration of indipendence. You know the ones that you have to dip in ink and have a big feather. Well they sell it with Avon and its like 5.00 but its magical. Its like using a crayon. Its great for first time users like you and then you once you get the hang of it, you can move on to more complicated stuff.
I use liquid eyeliner almost daily and I can tell you there is a difference between liners. First of all, make sure that the liner you are using has a solid tip to apply it evenly. Second, make sure you have plenty of q-tips available to clear up the smudges, get them damp with your tongue or water and make sure it's not damp. Start with your uppor lashes after applying your mascara and eyeshadow. Practice this and it's a hit. If you want your eyes to really show up, just apply to your upper lids and not the lower, it's a pretty retro look. Good luck.
you have to use your nondominant hand to pull the corner of your eyeand stretch it out and closed... (look like an asian, no offense to anyone!) and I always start at the inside corner to the outside of my eye... make sure also that you wipe the tip and get excess eyeliner off of it so its not drippy!

I would smudge it on with your finger. I want some too, wher'ed you get yours? lol
GL~isa
very carefully...
Apply like normal eyeliner but when You put it on your top eyelid let it dry for a couple seconds
try eiether using a q-tip or a hard bristled brush
lightly dip it in the eyeline and slowly and lightly dab it above the lash line
It works well w/o the pressure of the pencil

maybellene , mac and lancome
are wonderful
here are steps on how do you apply it
# Close one eyelid and place the liner brush in your right hand if you're right handed and vice versa.
# Put your finger at the end of the closed eyelid and pull your lid horizontally backwards (towards your ears). You don't have to pull too far.
# Starting at the end of your eyelid closest to your nose, run the liner along eyelid staying very close to eye lashes. Only go 3/4 of the length of your eye lid.
# Now open your eye and wait a few seconds for the liner to dry. Fan with your hands to quicken process.
# When dry finish your lined eye. I like to draw a ';tail'; that tapers. If you mess the tail up, just dip a Q-Tip in water, wipe away and start over.
# Now repeat these steps with the other eye.
I use almay and it's wonderful.
Application is easy. All you do is take the tip of the liner ';pen'; and run it along you lash line.
For the lower lashed however, I wouldn't go all the way to the go to the iner corner of your eye. Instead start at the outer corner and go about half way along the lash line.
I love Clarins, Lancome and MAC, but if you need something less pricey then go with Loreal because of its superthin brush needed for precision. I recently tried Clarins and I loved it for its deep rich color, it really transforms a plain eye and give you that bad girl look. LOVE IT!!
i use maybeline eyeliner and i pull out the corner of my eye as if to make your eye look thinner like asian eyes and its way easir to aplly that way
hope this helps good luck =]
if you want to go bright try barry m or if you want a pen like easy to applicate eyeliner try the new maxfactor eyeliner
for a glitttery brand use heavy metal glitter eyeliner by urban decay its great! i wrk in ulta in nj and it sellss great.

Is liquid eyeliner safe to get into your eye?
I use liquid liner sometimes on my lower lids and it gets into my eye sometimes. Is that safe? What will happen if it is dangerous? Is liquid eyeliner safe to get into your eye?
Use some artificial tears or Visine to get it out. The chemicals aren't good for your eyes. ESPECIALLY if the makeup is old. And do try to be careful in the future....Is liquid eyeliner safe to get into your eye?
yea thats really bad u should be more crarefull ( =
its ok to get into your eyes, its not hazardous, but it leeks and gets all in your eye and really isnt comfortable.
errr.. i avoid it wherever possible...
if its in your eye get it out asap..i dont know how dangerous it is but if you get it out quickly then it cant be that bad..
lol, hope your eyes ok
x
It used to happen me all the time. It won't do any damage to your eye but it may sting your eye for a second.
I don't think anything will happen but liquid liner is made for the top eyelid, you should use eye pencil on the bottom eyelid. But I'm pretty sure its just like mascara and thats totally safe. (Not saying you should put mascara on your eyes tho =P)
it's not a good thing but it is eye makeup. the manufacturers are aware that it's going to sometimes come into contact w/ the eye. just make sure you wash it out when it happens and you'll be fine.

How do you use liquid eye liner?
and which product would you recommendHow do you use liquid eye liner?
People who answered this question for you did a good job with suggestions and yes it does take practice but what they fail to mention is once you get it on MAKE SURE you wet your index finger and thumb with water and gently run them over you lashes (pre-mascara) avoiding to touch the line you just made . You dont want to have liquid eyeliner under your lower lid when you close your eyes. than run a tissue under it to make sure there is no left over wet residue on you lashes. Good Luck! It really is great stuff once you get the hang of it!How do you use liquid eye liner?
1. Liquid eyeliner comes in a bottle rather like ink, and you must use a separate brush to apply. The best result will come from a point liner brush.
2. It is natural to close your eye as you draw the line, but if you keep it open, it will actually make it easier to follow the curve of your lid and thus have a straighter line.
3. You do not need to try and paint a continuous line with liquid eyeliner. It is actually easier to pain a few small dashes onto the lash line, eg. Inner corner, middle and outer corner, then go back and connect them.
4. If you want a thicker line than this initial thin one, build it up gradually. Start at the middle of the lash line and draw towards the outer corner. You can extend the line slightly past the outer corner of your eyelid if you wish.
It should only be used on the top lashes because it is too harsh to be applied all the way around the eye. Liquid eyeliner does take a little bit of practice but once you get it, you get it.
And maybeline liquid eyeliner and it works great. Its very easy to wash off and if you mess up while applying you can just lick your finger and rub off the liner.
Liquid liner takes getting used to, but once you do you will love it. The liner never fades, or rubs off and always looks dark and perfect. Also, liners come in every color. I use the Lancome liner. Practice practice practice is all that I can say. To begin you can start by asking your self how you want your eyes to look. The cat eye is popular, or you can line the entire top lid, at any rate just relax and sit in front of a mirror and try to remember that as you apply the liner the tip of the brush is thin and the more you apply pressure the thicker the line. You can begin at the pupil of your eye and go out ward applying more pressure toward the temple and lift your hand upward to enhance your lid. this will give a cat eye or en Egyptian effect. never line the bottom of the eye as this will close your eye and make it appear smaller. Some start at the outer corner of the eye and paint inward, I do. This comes with practice. You will get better with time, don't get discouraged. Good luck.

I love Almay liquid eye liner. It works great, stays in place and is reasonable priced. You apply liquid the same way as a pencil except you can not use liquid under your eye.

Good luck.

Maybelline ';Ultra Liner - waterproof';
I love it...I've used it for years.
I love Almay liquid eye liner. It works great, stays in place and is reasonable priced. You apply liquid the same way as a pencil except you can not use liquid under your eye.

How do you put on liquid eye liner?
I was just wondering since I always have a hard time keeping my eye lif from moving and then it becoming a big mess...How do you put on liquid eye liner?
Its really easy how i do it but my eyeliner is like liquid and pencil.. but here this one help me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_k_f4CeeG鈥?/a>How do you put on liquid eye liner?
it's really easy actually, I recommend the liquid eye liner from victoria's secret it stays on for a really long time like all day until you wash it off.
liquid eye liner should really be put nly on the top of your eye. if you put it on the bottom you will probably end up looking like a raccoon. when you put it on, just close your eye about halfway and do it little by little right above your eyelashes. if you do it in a rush you'll probably mess it up, leading you to smear it trying to fix it, so just take your time!!
Rest your elbow on a table or sturdy surface. That's probably the golden rule in eyeliner application. Unless you have a very sturdy hand, don't attempt to draw a line straight across. Dot about 3 or 4 dots across your lash line, and join them together, raising the eyeliner pen to flick it on your outside corner. I'm sure youtube has videos so you can see how make-up pros do it.
Good Luck
X
When I put on liquid eye liner I put my finger on the outer corner of my eye and strech my eye lid so it is harder for it to move. Also Q-Tips help to clean up and mess or make the line sraighter.

Is there such thing as a liquid that ca change your eye colour?
Iv'e always wanted to change the colour of my eyes by buying contact lenses, but it's too pricy, so a friend reckoned that i should go to the optometrist and ask for some sought of liquid that changes your eye colour, and if i continue using it after sometime my eyes will change. If there is such liquid, please tell me the name? and how it works. I would really appreciate. Is there such thing as a liquid that ca change your eye colour?
Highly improbable that such a thing is available, and if it were, it would cost far more than contact lenses. Is there such thing as a liquid that ca change your eye colour?
why do you want to change the color of your eye?
so many of my friends have gotten contact lenses that change the color of their eye, to the color that society thinks is prettier.
ummm, im not going to tell you what to do, but if you do decide to change the color of your eye, dont do it a color that is too outragous and people will be able to tell it is not your real eye color. ask your eye doctor about the liquid thing. their is a good chance their are some side effects of this liquid. possibly going blind.
1) There is no such liquid to change eye color. Your eye color is a genetic outcome from your heritage, which you should be proud of.
2) Wanting to change your eye color for a special night with contacts is one thing.. but wanting to change your eye color for good.. well that is a sign of a bigger issue.. low self esteem..
3) Keep in mind.. every one wants what they don't have.. people with curly hair.. they want straight.. those people with straight hair, they want curly. People with blue eyes want brown and people with brown eyes want blue... big boob people would like smaller boobs (fits better into clothes and don't sag as easily) and smaller boob people want bigger boobs.
Point is, everyone is not happy with some part of their body /apperance and want to change it.. this is why the cosmetic surgery business is doing so outlandishly well.
But a better way is to see the beauty you already have in yourself, accept that, appreciate it... and move forward.
you can actually buy colour contacts in argos for about 拢12

Stila's liquid eye liner or Clinique eye defining liquid liner?
I need one in black. Which is better accoring to-
-- intensity of color
-- price
-- how long it wears ( needs to last ALL day )
-- how smudge-proof it is
any personal experiences would also be appreciated :) Thanks in advanceStila's liquid eye liner or Clinique eye defining liquid liner?
I loveee Stila. Everything I've ever tried by them has impressed me. And while I'm also a fan of Clinique, I've never tried their liquid liner. I have tried Stila's, though, and my experience with it was really good. It never smudged, which I always have problems with since I have a big smile. :D I'd give it a try unless something convinces you otherwise.

Are liquid eyeliner and non-waterproof eye makeup bad for contacts?
I've been wearing contact lenses for about a month, and I wear eye makeup almost every day. So far, I've experienced no irritation or problems. Last night I was surfing the web, and a few sites said that people who wear contacts should not wear liquid eyeliner, and that all of their eye makeup should be waterproof. Is this true? Am I harming my eyes and contact lenses by wearing normal, washable makeup and liquid eyeliner? Are liquid eyeliner and non-waterproof eye makeup bad for contacts?
Just don't get it in your eyes or on the contact lenses, and you will be fine.
The cautions are likely due to people accidentally getting liquid eyeliner on the contacts themselves, and the fact that contacts can make your eyes water, thus smearing non-waterproof makeup.

First off liquid eyeliner is messy, and thats why I don't use it. But my sis does. She takes shower every night, and then she cleans her eyes w/ q-tips. Its very simple.
i usually used liquid liner... well actually its easy to clean it... just grab a cotton and make it wet then put baby oil on wet cotton (just make it wet but not too wet) its very usefull, or u can use eye makeup remover (I use etude, and i will used wet cotton and baby oil if i cant find my makeup remover :p)
well try it ^^ 100% it will clean your liquid liner... its not only in 1wipe will clean your eyes but wipes it until it looks clean for you, and do it gentle... if you not gentle it will hurt your eyes...
Tried it but it didn't last all day and the liquid would run into my eye before it dried, so I went back to ';Revlon Color Stays'; in black which goes on very black and stays all day.
Revlon Color Stays is a Eyeliner/Crayon which goes on dark and is softer than a pencil eyeliner.
Merry Christmas
Nah, liquid eyeliner is the worst..plus it crust after it dries but uhm go to tha nearnest CVS and they have make up remover...if u cant do that...take a Q-tip and water and wipe it off...easy as UN0 DOS TR3'S
i dont usually use liquid eyeliner coz i think its hard to remove and makes my eyes itchy .. but i think normal eye make up remover should be able to remove it ..
I use it all the time and I use baby oil to remove it.
I wear a pencil eyeliner. Liquid isnt always easy to get on, you gotta be good and steady because you can easily mess up. If the pencil eyeliner is to hard, you just soften it alittle with a lighter or something hot. Now I'm starting to wipe off eyeshadow with a tissue before I wash my face because then that less makeup I have to scrub off my face. I just wash my face with regular face wash... then I rub to get the rest of the make-up off. If I'm having a hard time with it, I get my little bottle of make-up remover, Its by Maybelline(sp). That usually works. I will not wear make-up to bed. I let everything breathe, and then that way I dont get the make-up and oils on my pillow. Sleeping in that everynight would be gross.
i wear i almost everyday. but no i havent rlly thought of how i should wipe it off. i do sometimes try to scrub it off with a towel but im scared my eyelashes will fall out so i just leave it but i heard it was bad cuase if might get into your eyes.
I love liquid eyeliner, it stays on and is easy to apply. The trick to removing it, is plain ole hand lotion. The kind with no fragrence, just squeeze a little on to a tissue and wipe. Depending on how thick you wear your eyeliner will determine how many times you have to repeat the process.
I have small eyes so I always use liquid eyeliner. I use a soap called purpose to scrub it off at night and I have had no problems!
I don't use liquid eyeliner.
It's so hard to put on!!
:D
Well I use liquid eye liner and i remove it with many makeup remover. There are many kinds but make sure that the cleanser is not oily.
I tried it once and it got in my eye and made my whole eyeball turn black. it was scary. pencil is way better.blond hair

When I get liquid eyeliner on my right eye it stings?
On the top eyelid that is, is it dangerouse for your vision if you get eyeliner in your eye? When I get liquid eyeliner on my right eye it stings?
I sometimes use a liquid eyeliner from victoria secret and at first I though I was just doing it wrong because my eye would burn and water really bad. But then I realized I had my eye partially opened trying to see and it would run down into my eye, also if you get like a magazine or a thin book and speed up the drying process that helps too. It dries quicker. I don't know if that is what you are doing but it give you something to think about! Hope I helped some! When I get liquid eyeliner on my right eye it stings?
that means your allergic to it try Avon
I have and avon store that is totally awesome and the prices are wonderful!! I have many types of mascara, eyeliners, and much more for whatever your needs are please visit this site

If you have any questions please email me at punkerjune@yahoo.com
Maybe its the type you use.
I would just go with pencil, its easier and maybe since the other is a liquid it gets into your eye?
Sorry, I dont know what is causing it.
I hope I helped a little though.
I think it's just the brand, I had this issue with maybeline, I wouldn't even get it in my eye, but it still made my eyes burn. Try another brand.
maybe you should use the pencil eye liner instead of the liquid eye liner.
its fine just wash it out

Which is better and why, Liquid eye-liner or pencil eye-liner??
and can i have some make-up applying tips aswelll
thanksssWhich is better and why, Liquid eye-liner or pencil eye-liner??
pencil eye liner is easier to useWhich is better and why, Liquid eye-liner or pencil eye-liner??
pencil. liquid is so hard to apply nd it always gets in my eyes. i use maybelline and it works
hi,
i have found that its always good to invest in both but make sure the liquid one is a expensive one as some cheaper ones are runny and you can never apply it right,
liquid liner is best for going just outside the eyelid and up a bit like amy winehouse but please not that bad lol.
and pencil eyeliner is good for just under and over your eyes
once you've got them both sit in the mirror and experiment thats the only way you'll get it right as every face is different.
put a bit of music on and make yourself look glam or get a few friends round and practice on each other thats always a good laugh.
blondie xx
It depends on the effect you're aiming for. Pencil eye-liner is easy to apply and with a little imagination and some good make-up tools can be slightly blended into the eye-shadow to obtain a subtle look and to give depth to the eye. Liquid eye-liner, on the other hand, if applied carefully and symmetrically, is an attraction itself. Instead of emphasizing the eye-shadow like the pencil eye-liner, it gives weight to the eye-lashes (which should also be covered in the same color mascara). Another aspect is that the pencil is more appropriate for daytime because it's more subtle and easier to apply if you're in a hurry while liquid is better for evening, nights out and events. None is better than the other, they just look different and you should choose according to the circumstance and the look you desire. Hope this helps ;)
pencil
Liquid is great if you have a very steady hand---it doesn't fade or disappear as the day goes by.
Start from the outside corner of your eyelid and work inward---pull the skin of your eyelid tight with one finger, and use the other hand to apply.
If you don't have a steady hand, then use a pencil---you really can't go wrong with them---and if you make a mistake, just use a q-tip to fix it.
Once you put it on like twice, liquid eyeliner is easier to use..and plus it stays on longer and gives it a better look than pencil does
Just close your eye and apply a line from the inside corner out to the end of your eye and then use a q-tip to make the line straight!=]
For the bottom apply some black eyeshadow, then put a thin line of liquid liner, then use a q-tip/tissue to make it thinner and straight
pencil eye liner ROCKS! it is easy to go on, cheap to buy, varitey of colours and styles, it is not messy, you can bring it with you EVERYWHERE and it is easy to change your look.
Liquid gets messy, expensive and hard to use!
I would go with liquid because it doesn't smear as easily, and it stays on longer! Plus it will make the line darker than pencil
I would use a cream liner. In comes in a little case like an eyeshadow and you apply with an angle brush. It is nice because you can apply a thinner or thicker line and it looks more natural than a pencil or especially liquid. You can create the same effect by purchasing a black eyeshadow and getting a little water on your angle brush and dipping into the eyeshadow then apply. I love cream eyeliner and I have had mine for over 1.5 years now and still have plenty of it ( mine is GloMinerals) I will never use another type again!
pencil beacause my sister has liquid and it gets into ur eyes and ti burns and u feel like blind for like 2 secs
pencil eyeliner...u want some types??%26gt;.well first of all dont wear lots of makeup...secondly all u need to have is a lil bit eyline, mascara, a lit gloss for your lips and maybe some cover up or blush!!..just try and stick to your skin color colors!..something that will look good on your skin
Both.
Pencils make it look soft. Does not last long.
Liquids last.
Sp use liquids for formal occasions when u have to make it last. Be careful of any tears!
I use pencils on a daily basis. for short outings.
Also for work. U can always touch it up.
Make up tips will take very long. Also I do not know your shape of face and eyes.
Check the Mary Kay sites. They do it very well.
Personally, i really like both, it just depends on how careful your are and such.
Like, with Liquid you have to spend more time on it so you , firstly, don't get it in your eyes . But, i think it defines your eyes better and is a lot blacker.
But, with Pencil, i can usually do it a lot faster when i dont have as much time and it's nicer for the smokey eye look.
I think liquid is best for the top lids and pencil for the bottom.
If you put the liquid on bare eyelids(before eyeshadow)it looks more natural.
liquid is far far better as it stays on practically all day u may only have 2 apply it twice in one as apose to about 5 times with pencil. although for gods sake dont get it in your eye cus it stings soooo soo much. it jus takes practise. id say apply eyeshaow first n neatly sweep the eyeliner over your eyelid 2 create a neat line and only a little on the bottom for subtleness. rest your hand on your face to steady your hand.
i like pencil much better! Pencil is much easier to take off that liquid...
um...for makeup tips..try some powder/foundation ( just a little though!!!!) and try a bit of eye shadow and eyeliner! Lip gloss too!!!
GOOD LUCK!!! :D
Liquid eyeliner is harder to start with, but fives a more proffsional look. pencil is easier, and blends you into the crowd, giving your eyes that extra touch. to apply pencil eyeliner, pull a little under your eye, and you'll see a pink line, which is the inside of your eye, put it JUST underneath. I never got the hang of the liquid stuff, sorry. If you're gonna but concealer, get it two shades lighter than your skin, and blend it in carefully. Mascaras great, I have maybelline volume express. good luck.
i love them both! i use liquid for a dramatic look,(parties, fancy occasions) and pencil for a soft everyday look. i use brown pencil eyeliner mostly cuz it looks like you are not wearing alot %26amp; ur not trying too hard. and it makes my eyes stand out. i love the rimmel pencils. they go on so well. and i use revlons black liquid. i love that 2. let me kno if u have any q's. i know alot about makeup
pencil eye liner the brand beauty at walmart is about two bucks and it last for about 5 hours without reappylyng
depends what look your going for, liquind if bold, pencil if just a bit of detail
it depends on what effect you're trying to get, pencil tends to be softer, easier to apply and blends better, but it also can run quite easily. liquid is really distinctive, hard to use at first, but when you get the hang of it it's just as easy, liquid tends to last a lot longer than pencil, i've forgotten to take it off before and it's stayed on whilst i've showered!
liquid liner tends to suit people with dark features or really vibrantly coloured eyes best.
for me, liquid goes on better, and i don't have to worry as much about stabbing my eye.
pencil - usually because it's easier to apply and great for smudging. Liquid is good for long and thin lines, however not everyone finds it easy to use.
Remember when applying eyeliner, do not pull at the end of the eye as the eyeliner becomes uneven. Begin from the corner of the eye with a thin line and as you come to the end, gradually thicken the line.
i like pencil much better. it's easier to use and doesn't run on you lol. one cool thing about liquid eyeliner is, if you get some in your eye, and blink. your whole eye turns that color til you blink again haha i'm sure it's not good for you though.
I think liquid eyeliner gives a better finish although I find it very difficult to apply as my hand is not that steady. Any errors are very noticable.
Pencil eyeliner isn't so noticable if you make a small error and it is easier to remove, although I find it doesn't go on as easily as the liquid, you need to press hardeer
i would say penical
I like pencil eyeliner better because it looks more natural ,plus its easier to control i usually get as close to my eyelashes as i can get and and apply a line on it ,that makes you eyelashes look fuller!
I use liquid colorstay....
it goes on more even and does not smear.
If you have a eyeliner brush you like wash off with a wet wipe and don't throw away keep it....
Its almost like a hair brush you have to get one broke in.
I prefer pencil cuz its easier for me!
liquid is easier to take off but it makes u look older and too much sometimes if u over use it
thanksssWhich is better and why, Liquid eye-liner or pencil eye-liner??
pencil eye liner is easier to useWhich is better and why, Liquid eye-liner or pencil eye-liner??
pencil. liquid is so hard to apply nd it always gets in my eyes. i use maybelline and it works
hi,
i have found that its always good to invest in both but make sure the liquid one is a expensive one as some cheaper ones are runny and you can never apply it right,
liquid liner is best for going just outside the eyelid and up a bit like amy winehouse but please not that bad lol.
and pencil eyeliner is good for just under and over your eyes
once you've got them both sit in the mirror and experiment thats the only way you'll get it right as every face is different.
put a bit of music on and make yourself look glam or get a few friends round and practice on each other thats always a good laugh.

How to apply liquid eye liner on top and bottom lid?
whats a good inexpensive brand? How to apply liquid eye liner on top and bottom lid?
I use L脪real Lineur Intense Felt Tip liquid eyeliner (about $10 at Pharmasave/Superstore in Western Canada). My two favorite shades are Earthen Rock Brown and Carbon Black, for variation to either a daytime or nighttime look. How I apply liquid liner when I'm wearing it on both my top and bottom lids is to do my top lids first - I start at the outside of my natural lash line and gently draw the felt tip across towards the inside of my eye, keeping as close to the lashes as possible. I then usually add a bit more shape to the outer edge of the rim of my eyelid, creating a bit of a cat's-eye effect. And finally I wipe any mistakes away with a dampened cotton swab. For my lower lids, I start close to the inner corner of my eye and, without worrying too much about making a perfectly thin line, gently draw the felt tip outwards until I reach the end of my lash line. I then use another damp cotton swab (or a fingertip if I'm using the lighter brown shade) to wipe away the excess eyeliner until desired thickness is achieved. I finish my look by applying concealer with a brush for accuracy, and always sweep a little powder on my lids to increase the staying power of the liner. One word of warning - if you are wearing false eyelashes with black liquid eyeliner, make sure the adhesive or glue you're using will not dry gray. Good luck! How to apply liquid eye liner on top and bottom lid?
You should find the middle of the top of your lashline and stroke from there to the outer corner of you eye. Start with lighter pressure and build it up so you make it thicker on the outter side of the lashline.
Then, go to the corner of your eye, use little pressure again, and meet the line that you made the first time.
If you start at the corner of your eye, you will probably make the line too thick or uneven. By doing it in sections and connecting, you have more precision.
And you want to aim for the line to be thinner, then thicker when it meets the corner of the end of your eye:D
you should NOT line the BOTTOM of your eye
Use pencil liner if you must line the bottom.
I prefer a liquid eyeliner with a brush, there are some which are like pen tips which enable easy drawing. So you got to pick which suites you.
The key is to start on the inner side of the eye on the top lid and apply one even stroke over the entire lid. That keeps it even. You can then thicken it by applying few more strokes or leave it thin. If you have small eyes a thicker application will make your eyes look bigger and dramatic. I use only kajal or kohl pencil on the lower lid as i find liquid liner may get into the eye. As far as the brand is concerned i like revlon and mac eyeliners and pencils. Lakme and revlon are among the cheaper brands i guess.
...No liquid liner on you bottom lid (aka waterline) If it gets in your eye, it'll irritate like NO other.
Get a Kohl pencil to put on your bottom lid like technkohl eyeliner from MAC Cosmetics. It's a retractable kohl pencil that is waterproof and smudge proof.
I put eyeliner on pretty weird... Whenever I close my eyes they like spaz out and my eyelids flutter, I guess you could say, so I close my eye and pull the corner out. Then you just put it on close to your lash line. That was for the top lashes. For the bottom, you don't put it where you would the normal pencil eyeliner. You put it on the lash line. Otherwise, if you close your eyes too soon or something they will get flooded with eyeliner and you don't want that to happen. If it does, you just wash it out with water. But try different ways. Whatever works for you is the way you should do it. :)
I used Covergirl Line Exact eyeliner for a while, but then I got Almay. They both are good, inexpensive liquid eyeliners.

hope tht helps=)

I just got liquid eye liner --any tips on aplication, anti smudgeng...?
i tried it today and it smudged all over
also any tips for natural looking applicationI just got liquid eye liner --any tips on aplication, anti smudgeng...?
Make sure you get off the excess on the applicator before applying it. Try making lines on your hand first to get used to the way it feels. It's a lot like painting very fine lines, and takes experience and a gentle touch. You may want to start with drawing the line you want lightly with a eye liner pencil and then filling it in with liquid until you get used to it. Don't touch it and let it dry completely before you try to fix it. Then if you make a mistake, put lotion or makeup remover on a Q-tip (they make pointy ones for applications like this but regular can work too) and delicately wipe away what you don't want, rolling against your stroke slightly. It might take a few Q-tips at first. Use oil free makeup remover for best results (in my opinion).I just got liquid eye liner --any tips on aplication, anti smudgeng...?
liquid eyeliner is AMAZING, but it is such a pain to get off sometimes!
just a lil tip, whenever you make a mistake, use lotion to help get it off!

use an angled eye brush to apply will only cost you about 10.00 but will work sooooo much better than the aplicator it comes with. start in the middle of the eye lid and work your way out.. and then start at the begining of the eye lid and work your way to the middle..
you close your eye and put it on carefully around the eyelash line. for lines under your eye it wont really look natural. Do the same thing. If you use white eyeliner, It will make your eyes look bigger and if you use black eyeliner, It will tend to make your eyes look smaller. You may want to check on it throughout the day cause it sometimes smudges or chips
try your best to create an even line along your eyes and if you make a mistake take a Q tip and clean it up

For one, liquid in the eye will lead to chronic eye infections and irritation. Nothing hot about itchy, burny, red eyes. Then they'll water and leave streaks around your eye. Still nothing hot there. Go with a line across your lid, and if the effect needs more drama, smudge a small, thin line of dark eyeshadow under your lower lashes. That will be hot.
AHH don't put liquid IN your eye. Put pencil around the bottom rim... (you can do top too, if it doesn't bother you to lift up your eyelid and look weird for a few seconds) then put the liquid on top. Don't make it tooo thick so your eyes pop. I personally think liquid all around makes your eyes look smaller. good luck:)

Buy anyways, I have always worn liquid eyeliner because i like it more, and i always just stretch my eye when i do it, and it looks fine - just like it would if you didn't stretch it.How do you put on liquid eyeliner without stretching your eye as you apply it?
Go to Youtube, search MichellePhan, and click on the vid that says eyeliner Tutorial,How do you put on liquid eyeliner without stretching your eye as you apply it?
I always use a small yet pointy makeup brush. Make sure it has a long handle, This way my hand is far from my eye and i can see without even touching my eye. It may take some practice.
Put little dots right on/close to your lash line of where you want the liner to be. Then, connect the dots.

What brand of eyeliner, mascara, eye liquid, and eye shadow that works good??
I have really sensitive skin so I have to use Clinique everything now. I really do like Clinique make up but it can get rather expensive. I used to use an Almay smudge proof liner, it was awesome because it wouldn't come off. Maybelline also has some great mascaras. What brand of eyeliner, mascara, eye liquid, and eye shadow that works good??
I have had good luck with Physician's Formula. You can find it at Target, WalMart, pharmacies, etc. Their products work really well and are great for sensitive skin also. What brand of eyeliner, mascara, eye liquid, and eye shadow that works good??
I always get waterproof. I've heard good things about NYC. Loreal is the kind I buy, though.
Best mascara has to be ';Telescopic'; by L'Oreal Paris and all of their products are great so you should try 'em!!
Pencil Liner: MAC %26amp; ModelCo
Liquid Liner: ';Face Of Australia'; Cosmetics (no flaking)
Mascara: Rimmel %26amp; Maybelline
Eyeshadow: Bourjois Paris (great colors too)

What would you recommend as a liquid eyeliner for the top eye lid?
I use to use a liquid eyeliner for my top eye lid but stopped as by the end of the day it appeared all dried %26amp; cracked looking. Do you have any suggestions as to a ';good'; liquid eyeliner that i can wear all day (on my top eyelid) that won't appear to dry or crack by the end of the day?
ThanksWhat would you recommend as a liquid eyeliner for the top eye lid?
Mary Kay or Mac.What would you recommend as a liquid eyeliner for the top eye lid?
I think liquid eyeliner on the top lid is great (not to mention in my opinion, a cleaner look then using pencil)
I always like to try different ones to see which work best for me. I have never had cracks... maybe the one you currently use is old?
The ones that I really like are:
*Bobby Brown's Ink (a ';pot'; of gel eye liner. You use an eyeliner brush to apply) a bit on the pricey side but works very well
* Loreal's Liquid Eyeliner (a gray tube with a glod wand) the liquid is very smooth and easy to paint on the line. Inexpensive too!
* Almay (a gray small tube with a black top) this applicator is stiff/sponge-like; so it goes on thin and easy to control the size of the line. Inexpensive too!
the best eyliner is not liquid but pencil
it stays on all day
i say dont put any on the top
to me it sounds like you need less eyeliner rather than a different kind. If you're putting it on in a big thick line, I'd use a powder rather than a liquid, it'll go on smoother and won't deteriorate over the day.
Lore'al Black Mica or Mineral Grey... about $25.

What foundation and liquid eye liner does Dita Von Teese wear?

Is liquid eye liner better than pencil eye liner?
I wear a fair amount of make up, and I always use stick eye liner, not the pencil kind but the kind that is in the tubes. it says it lasts all day but sometimes runs a little bit regardless.
I want to know if liquid eye liner stays on longer/looks better?
What's a good brand of liquid eye liner that lasts all day?Is liquid eye liner better than pencil eye liner?
There's really no difference between liquid eye liner, and pencil liner.
It matters on the brand and your preference.
Liquid eyeliner MIGHT stay on all day or for the most of it, but it depends on the brand you buy. Some good liquid eyeliner brands I would recommend are ones by M.A.C. Cosmetics, Clinique, Prestige Maybelline. (note: Prestige and Maybelline are the ';drugstore brands';)
I choose to mainly use pencil liner, using the brands mentioned above, but if I'm going for a dramatic look, I'll use liquid liner for the top of the eye. I hope this helps a bit. :]Is liquid eye liner better than pencil eye liner?
i wear liquid. neverr tried pencil. but liquid lasts a long time 4 me. haha
I always used regular eyeliner pencil, and with a good brand I think it looks just fine. But, if you want some precision and crisper looking lines, go for the liquid! I tried it once and have kept on using it. Try M.A.C liquid liner, or if you want a cheaper version, try L'oreal. Both are great!
Love the L'Oreal HIP eyeliner and liquid eyeliner. Use both :D
Liquid Liner is mainly for the top lids. Angelina Jolie uses it because it creates the cat eye. I use Liquid and the stick both because I find the both work very well and look awesome. I find they both stay on the same amount of time. With the liquid liner you can create a more edgy and darker look but with the pencil it's better to just use it under the eye and it still looks really good . A good brand of liquid liner is CoverGirl , Lancome and M.A.C. My favourite is mac because it's really rich quality . All though it's a little exspensive it's still worth it :)! Another good eeyeliner is the cream one . Now to apply this one you use an angle brush . It also looks really good and personally can be used anywhere around the eye . A very good brand for that is Clinique.
I can guarantee you that they will all last all day simply because of the darkness and rich , rich quality of them.
Sorry it was so long.
Sope I Helped though :)
I use Victoria's Secret's Very Sexy liquid eyeliner in ';Blackout,'; which is the MOST popular shade (I always have trouble when I want to buy more lol). It's kind of like a felt-tip marker, and it works really well :)
Liquid lastest longer.
And also unlike PENCIL it doesn't.
Liquid can be for both like top lid and bottom lid.
Pencil can be for bottom lid but if you get an expenxive pencil it can look good on the top lid.
Well I use

Kinda PRICEY but hey it last long!
Liquid seems to be pretty long wearing, but I've used waterproof pencil eyeliner formulas that last pretty long as well.
As far as looks, I think it depends on what look you're going for. Liquid eyeliner seems to stay crisp once it dries, so you can do a retro look and ';wing'; it out at the corner of your eyes. With pencils, you can smudge it and do a smoky eye.
Personally, I can't put on liquid liner to save my life. I use gel/cream liners (I like the one from L'Oreal's HIP line) and eyeshadow (either wet or dry) and an eyeliner brush. I find the cream liner easier to apply then liquid liners and the eyeshadow-as-eyeliner stays longer then a lot of pencils but with the same effect.
So you use like the automatic eyeliners. From what I hear about liquid liners, they give a ';bolder'; look. I just prefer the pencil ones.
Liquid liner is longer lasting (I wore some to bed last night, and nine hours later it hasn't budged), though I find it harder to apply. I use Wet n Wild and I don't have much trouble with it, but it's obviously not the best (I grabbed the cheapest I could find).
Pencil/stick liner always smudges a bit if you have quite a bit on or you're in hot weather, etc, but try setting it with a liner brush and shadow to keep it in place.
pencil eye liner is better than liquid eye liner because liquid looks so fake and it can get into your eyes and it sometime drips onto your cheeks. when pencil looks more natural it will actually stay if you cry!
hope it helps!!!!
Liquid eyeliner is great for night-time or for dramatic effect during the day and it should only be used on your eyelid close to your lashes. Pencil eyeliner is great for use during the day and can be used for both the eyelid and under the eye which will save you money because with the liquid eyeliner you will need to use either a pencil eyeliner or black eyeshadow to put under your eye for the most dramatic look.
I would try model Josie Maran's pencil eyeliner in black (onyz), charcoal, or brown. Josie Maran is only one of the most beautiful models ever and she used to do a lot of Maybelline commercials and print ads in magazines in 2006. They costs around $18 but are well worth the money according to people who bought her eyeliner from Sephora. Check out Sephora's website and type in Josie Maran or click on Organic%26amp;Natural Cosmetics%26amp;Skin Care and then click on Josie Maran's name under Natural Makeup on the left.
I use Suncoat liquid eyeliner which is from Canada. You can look it up on Yahoo's search engine. It is my favorite and it works all day. For about $20, it is not a high price for a great liquid eyeliner. A great liquid eyeliner would cost about that because the handle is not going to break and will give you great precision on the first try. I apply two coats because it goes on light the first time. It is also all-natural which is great for me in case it goes in my eyes because there won't be any harmful artificial ingredients that will cause damage to my eyes.
If you apply two coats of liquid eyeliner then it should last you all day. It lasts me all day. Just make sure you don't have a habit of rubbing your eyes or else you will have to reapply during the day.
liquid eye liner looks messy to me
I think eyeliner is ugly. It isn't at all attractive and thus I have no idea why girls like to use it.
I think it is a matter of personal preference or the look you are trying ot get
liquid eye liner does last longer if you're looking for something like that. Plus you can get the waterproof kind. The downside to it is I think it's harder to apply correctly. If you decide to go with the liquid eye liner I would get the cheap stuff first so you can have something to practice with...
