How do you apply liquid eyeliner without getting it in your eye?

i heard its amazing and it stays on really long,but i can never get it to work without it getting in my eye!!!

Use it like you would a fine paint brush. Put it on the tops of the eyelids and underneath the eyelash on the bottom of the eye. Take your time and make sure that you don't have it clumped on the applicator. It does work very well and it doesn't pull the eye during application. This is a good thing because eye tissure is very sensitive.
it takes a lot of practice, but i find it helps to start from about the middle of the eye and work outward first, then work inward, and do a very small stroke at a time so it dries quicker. it's easy to build a like up thicker or darker than get it in your eye.


you might also want to make sure you rub excess off on the inner part of the opening to the tube/container..if there's too much on the lining brush it'll get everywhere and run into the eye easier.

i always pt it on the top also i always put it on with eye pencil first to get it neat then go over it with the liquid eyeliner with a thin layer. To get it on neat you could hold your eye lid in place by holding your eyelashes.. works for me hope i helped =D
make sure you keep you eyes closed.


you can go slowly and try to get a thin line.


if it doesnt come out good you can thin it out with a q-tip
I use it on the tops on my eye lids not in the inside.


As if i use it on the inside of my eye it runs too.

you've just got to practise and practise! do it when you're not going out at night or something. it took me aaages to get it perfect. just follow the lash lines and there shouldnt be a problem.xx

if you want you can try and do it with an eyepencil first and then just going over it with the liquid

I would try holding the bottom lid down


and put it on the way!
Make sure your putting it under your bottom lashes, not on the same area you put pencil on
i use liquid ontop and pencil underneath (:
just pull your eye taut and use a steady hand. i guess it just takes practice but youll get it.
Top of your eyelids, then it shouldn't go into your eye!
