What's better, liquid eye liner or regular eye liner?

A pencil eyeliner is most always better because it blends better and doesn't look as severe. I always thought it would be cooler to wear liquid but then my friend pointed out that if you look at people on the covers of magazines, they pretty much always have a pencil eyeliner on.


If your doing something for a performance, like a cheer or dance competition, then you might choose liquid because it is easier to see from further away.


Even if that kind of stuff doesn't matter to you, pencil eyeliner is less of a mess to put on :)What's better, liquid eye liner or regular eye liner?
Well, I do pencil on the bottom,


and liquid on the bottom, it's kind of


harder though, haha, it stay on longer though.


I wouldn't really suggest putting it on the botom though,


it'll get on you're waterline, and like in you're eye, D:
Regular is easier to put on and is a little more subtle. Liquid is more sexy and used for the ';cat-eye'; look.

For eyeliner on the bottom eyelid, use a pencil liner. For eyeliner on the top eyelid, use a liquid.

Depends! I use pencil liner for my inner lids, and liquid for my outer-upper eyelids.

It depends. Liquid eyeliner can appear a little thicker. If you want someting a little thinner, I suggest regular. If you want something more apparent, I suggest liquid.
I use pencil liner on my waterline and I use liquid liner on my top lid and pencil liner under my top lid.
Liquid eyeliner is more difficult to apply and can be a pain in the *** because you have to wait for it to dry... it smudges a lot easier before it dries too. Regular eyeliner can be a bit more stiff and take another coat or two, depending on the brand, to apply and get the amount you want.

i love liquid eyeliner because it gives you a really nice dramatic look, but you NEED to spend time practicing to make sure it looks good.


with pencil its easy to apply, but can wear off easily.

A liquid eyeliner is much more defining , dramatic and difficult to apply but it has a more elegant and classier look and it wont smear as easy as your pencil would.Liquid liners will make your eyes stand out a lot more because they are so defined and darker.


Usually blonds dont use liquid but if they do it is from the brown colors. Liquid liners are very sexy on darker feature women especially the middle eastern and asian.
