i have found that its always good to invest in both but make sure the liquid one is a expensive one as some cheaper ones are runny and you can never apply it right,


liquid liner is best for going just outside the eyelid and up a bit like amy winehouse but please not that bad lol.


and pencil eyeliner is good for just under and over your eyes


once you've got them both sit in the mirror and experiment thats the only way you'll get it right as every face is different.


put a bit of music on and make yourself look glam or get a few friends round and practice on each other thats always a good laugh.

It depends on the effect you're aiming for. Pencil eye-liner is easy to apply and with a little imagination and some good make-up tools can be slightly blended into the eye-shadow to obtain a subtle look and to give depth to the eye. Liquid eye-liner, on the other hand, if applied carefully and symmetrically, is an attraction itself. Instead of emphasizing the eye-shadow like the pencil eye-liner, it gives weight to the eye-lashes (which should also be covered in the same color mascara). Another aspect is that the pencil is more appropriate for daytime because it's more subtle and easier to apply if you're in a hurry while liquid is better for evening, nights out and events. None is better than the other, they just look different and you should choose according to the circumstance and the look you desire. Hope this helps ;)

Liquid is great if you have a very steady hand---it doesn't fade or disappear as the day goes by.





Start from the outside corner of your eyelid and work inward---pull the skin of your eyelid tight with one finger, and use the other hand to apply.





If you don't have a steady hand, then use a pencil---you really can't go wrong with them---and if you make a mistake, just use a q-tip to fix it.
Once you put it on like twice, liquid eyeliner is easier to use..and plus it stays on longer and gives it a better look than pencil does


Just close your eye and apply a line from the inside corner out to the end of your eye and then use a q-tip to make the line straight!=]


For the bottom apply some black eyeshadow, then put a thin line of liquid liner, then use a q-tip/tissue to make it thinner and straight
pencil eye liner ROCKS! it is easy to go on, cheap to buy, varitey of colours and styles, it is not messy, you can bring it with you EVERYWHERE and it is easy to change your look.





Liquid gets messy, expensive and hard to use!
I would go with liquid because it doesn't smear as easily, and it stays on longer! Plus it will make the line darker than pencil
I would use a cream liner. In comes in a little case like an eyeshadow and you apply with an angle brush. It is nice because you can apply a thinner or thicker line and it looks more natural than a pencil or especially liquid. You can create the same effect by purchasing a black eyeshadow and getting a little water on your angle brush and dipping into the eyeshadow then apply. I love cream eyeliner and I have had mine for over 1.5 years now and still have plenty of it ( mine is GloMinerals) I will never use another type again!
pencil beacause my sister has liquid and it gets into ur eyes and ti burns and u feel like blind for like 2 secs

Sp use liquids for formal occasions when u have to make it last. Be careful of any tears!





I use pencils on a daily basis. for short outings.


Also for work. U can always touch it up.





Make up tips will take very long. Also I do not know your shape of face and eyes.

Personally, i really like both, it just depends on how careful your are and such.


Like, with Liquid you have to spend more time on it so you , firstly, don't get it in your eyes . But, i think it defines your eyes better and is a lot blacker.


But, with Pencil, i can usually do it a lot faster when i dont have as much time and it's nicer for the smokey eye look.
I think liquid is best for the top lids and pencil for the bottom.


If you put the liquid on bare eyelids(before eyeshadow)it looks more natural.
liquid is far far better as it stays on practically all day u may only have 2 apply it twice in one as apose to about 5 times with pencil. although for gods sake dont get it in your eye cus it stings soooo soo much. it jus takes practise. id say apply eyeshaow first n neatly sweep the eyeliner over your eyelid 2 create a neat line and only a little on the bottom for subtleness. rest your hand on your face to steady your hand.
i like pencil much better! Pencil is much easier to take off that liquid...


um...for makeup tips..try some powder/foundation ( just a little though!!!!) and try a bit of eye shadow and eyeliner! Lip gloss too!!!

Liquid eyeliner is harder to start with, but fives a more proffsional look. pencil is easier, and blends you into the crowd, giving your eyes that extra touch. to apply pencil eyeliner, pull a little under your eye, and you'll see a pink line, which is the inside of your eye, put it JUST underneath. I never got the hang of the liquid stuff, sorry. If you're gonna but concealer, get it two shades lighter than your skin, and blend it in carefully. Mascaras great, I have maybelline volume express. good luck.
i love them both! i use liquid for a dramatic look,(parties, fancy occasions) and pencil for a soft everyday look. i use brown pencil eyeliner mostly cuz it looks like you are not wearing alot %26amp; ur not trying too hard. and it makes my eyes stand out. i love the rimmel pencils. they go on so well. and i use revlons black liquid. i love that 2. let me kno if u have any q's. i know alot about makeup
pencil eye liner the brand beauty at walmart is about two bucks and it last for about 5 hours without reappylyng
depends what look your going for, liquind if bold, pencil if just a bit of detail
it depends on what effect you're trying to get, pencil tends to be softer, easier to apply and blends better, but it also can run quite easily. liquid is really distinctive, hard to use at first, but when you get the hang of it it's just as easy, liquid tends to last a lot longer than pencil, i've forgotten to take it off before and it's stayed on whilst i've showered!


liquid liner tends to suit people with dark features or really vibrantly coloured eyes best.
for me, liquid goes on better, and i don't have to worry as much about stabbing my eye.
pencil - usually because it's easier to apply and great for smudging. Liquid is good for long and thin lines, however not everyone finds it easy to use.


Remember when applying eyeliner, do not pull at the end of the eye as the eyeliner becomes uneven. Begin from the corner of the eye with a thin line and as you come to the end, gradually thicken the line.
i like pencil much better. it's easier to use and doesn't run on you lol. one cool thing about liquid eyeliner is, if you get some in your eye, and blink. your whole eye turns that color til you blink again haha i'm sure it's not good for you though.
I think liquid eyeliner gives a better finish although I find it very difficult to apply as my hand is not that steady. Any errors are very noticable.





Pencil eyeliner isn't so noticable if you make a small error and it is easier to remove, although I find it doesn't go on as easily as the liquid, you need to press hardeer

I like pencil eyeliner better because it looks more natural ,plus its easier to control i usually get as close to my eyelashes as i can get and and apply a line on it ,that makes you eyelashes look fuller!

it goes on more even and does not smear.


If you have a eyeliner brush you like wash off with a wet wipe and don't throw away keep it....


Its almost like a hair brush you have to get one broke in.
I prefer pencil cuz its easier for me!
liquid is easier to take off but it makes u look older and too much sometimes if u over use it
