What is better to use: liquid eye liner or just regular non-liquid stick eye liner?

Depends on your preferences and skin type.


Liquid gives a defined look, and pencil is better for the smoky look, but I live in a humid country where makeup fades in seconds so I use liquid on the bottom(outer rim) as well. What is better to use: liquid eye liner or just regular non-liquid stick eye liner?
I prefer liquid eyeliner you can get a more defined sharper look.


A stick liner will give you a smoky look but won't stay the course of a hectic day.





Having said that, I now have permanent (tattoo) cosmetic eyeliner done ever 4 yrs, that way you can go swimming, into humid environments %26amp; save heaps of time getting ready for a night out. If you do look into it, DO NOT go to a normal tattoo parlour as the colour will start off black or brown but over time turn a yukky green. hi, i am a makeup artist and national trainer I also designed an international brand of mineral makeup ( hf mineral makeup)... This is what i suggest and recommend-





if you buy mineral brown eye shadow or black or blue or green or what ever colour you wish - with mineral makeup you actually get the choice to have it as a liquid or a pencil look.


Simply wet the powder with water for the liquid look.


It will dry in a couple of seconds.


Which looks better - i like and put on my models pencil eye liner and smudge or use the wet ( as mentioned above) and then do the smudged look. Both mineral eye liner and mineral powders are available here- check out this site -



I would honestly choose liquid eyeliner because it stays on longer and looks darker.





Stick eyeliner makes your eyes look kinda... blurry?


and it forms tiny goo balls at the end of the day... Haha, I'm sorry, I don't know what they're called, but It's not as gross as it sounds.

if you want a more definite look, use liquid, but if you want a more ';big eyes'; look, use pencil.


personally, i like pencil.


its not as hard to apply.
I prefer a powder eyeliner, its easier to apply and do different styles with, and it lasts all day without smudging
I like liquid because regular eye liner is too hard for me to use.
